A delicious dessert made with glutinous rice, coconut milk, and fresh mango.
Ingredients

- 1 cup glutinous rice
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
- 2 ripe mangoes
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Rinse glutinous rice under cold water until clear. Soak for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Drain the rice and steam in a steamer lined with cheesecloth for about 30 minutes until fully cooked.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup of coconut milk, ½ cup of sugar, and ¼ tsp salt. Stir until sugar dissolves—do not boil.
- Mix three-quarters of the coconut sauce into the cooked rice and let sit for 10 minutes to absorb flavors.
- Peel and slice the mangoes into wedges.
- Serve sticky rice on plates, top with mango slices, and drizzle with remaining coconut sauce.
Notes
- This dish is best served warm.
- Make sure to use ripe mangoes for optimal sweetness.
